In the first weekend of Kansas City Ballet’s Celebration of Dance, you’ll enjoy three ballets including a KC premiere by Matthew Neenan. George Balanchine’s Diamonds is the third and final ballet of Balanchine’s Jewels, a glorious culmination of beauty and elegance. Jirí Kylián’s Petite Mort passionately depicts the vulnerability of our lives and is an absolute “must see.”
